FREE Mental Health Resources
One the most common barriers to accessing mental health care is the cost. College students are typically not the richest demographic in the country, but money shouldn’t be the reason someone can’t get help. The following resources are free and available to SF students who want support from someone who cares.
Other common barriers include not knowing where to go and who to turn to in times of need, and the challenge of finding a safe space to share what’s going on. Good news! These free services are confidential and provided by licensed professionals, so if you or someone you know needs help…someone who cares is only a click or call away.

Need help? Want to help?
Some people are fiercely independent, making it difficult for them to ask for help even when they desperately need it. Others are influenced by peer pressure or embarrassed to admit they need help. And some folks simply don’t want to be a burden on anyone else. Click below to learn how you can help someone else (or get help in times of trouble).
